In addition, get a massage. Ayurvedic Abhyanga is a massage with medicated oil customized according to the need of the energy imbalance in the person’s body. This  not only relaxes tense muscles, but it also decreases the level of stress hormones in the bloodstream and stimulates the release of serotonin, a brain chemical associated with relaxation and a feeling of well-being. Studies show that such massage done by a traned person in aproper scientific way followed by a medicated steam all over the body can even lower your heart rate and blood pressure.

There is aroma therapy in which particular aroma of some flowers is used as a therapy considering its effect on the body energy or on certain body conditions or mind conditions. Aroma oils are used in air freshner sprays or fumes as a relaxing or calming agents and they work wonders.

There is a one of the panch karma : nasya therapy, in which medicated or plain drops of oils or ghee are put in both nostrils. Here the nostrils of the patient are considered as the door of the head or brain of the person. Great results can be achieved with this therapy as a stress management also.

Shirodhara is one of the panch karmas in which a flow of medicated oils or milk is put on the fore head on a particular marma point. This therapy is having a best stress reliever effect.
